MENTAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING
GRAS has held seminars to discuss managing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, including how to maintain a work/life balance, bringing your authentic to self to the workplace and the challenges of the graduate year and beyond.
BEYOND THE GRADUATE PROGRAM
In recent years, GRAS has held a beyond the graduate program seminar for outgoing cohorts with presentations from alumni discussing the opportunities and challenges that come after the graduate year.
NETWORKING
GRAS holds a regular lunch-time and after work events to allow members to network and connect with people across the VPS.
CAREER PROGRESSION
GRAS organises regular seminars on career progression, upskilling, and topics relevant to the public servant of the day. At these seminars, we hear from professionals across the Victorian public sector, including alumni.
DIVERSITY AND DISCLOSURE IN THE VPS
GRAS has collaborated with the VPS PRIDE Network and the VPS Enablers Network and held a seminar on disclosure in Victorian public sector jobs. Many issues and challenges surrounding disclosure for employees, employers and coworkers were discussed.
